Timerlyn is a complete platform of timing tools that works directly in your browser. No need to download any app, create an account or register in any way. Just access the website and start using immediately on any device with a modern browser.
Our tools were designed with a focus on simplicity and precision. Each one serves a specific time control need, from accurate measurement to scheduled alarms. Below, we explain in detail how to use each one.
Digital Stopwatch
The digital stopwatch measures time with hundredths of a second precision. It is ideal for sports activities, cooking, studying or any situation that requires precise time interval measurement. The large, readable display can be seen from a distance, and fullscreen mode further enhances visibility.
Access the Stopwatch page and click "Start" to begin timing. The display will start counting from zero.
Use the "Lap" button to record split times without stopping the count. Each lap shows the split time and cumulative total time.
Click "Stop" to pause the count. You can resume from where you stopped by clicking "Resume".
Use "Reset" to clear the stopwatch and start a new measurement. Activate fullscreen mode for an enlarged view.
Countdown Timer
The timer lets you set any custom duration and start a countdown. When time is up, a sound alarm notifies you automatically. Perfect for controlling cooking time, exercises, work breaks, timed meetings and much more.
On the Timer page, set the desired hours, minutes and seconds in the numeric fields, or select one of the quick presets (1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes or 1 hour).
Click "Start" to begin the countdown. The progress bar visually shows how much time has passed.
You can pause and resume the timer at any time. The remaining time is preserved during the pause.
When the timer reaches zero, a sound alarm is played automatically by the browser. The alarm works even on another tab.
Pomodoro Timer
The Pomodoro timer implements the popular productivity technique created by Francesco Cirillo. It automatically alternates between intense focus periods and restorative breaks, helping you maintain concentration and avoid mental fatigue during long work or study sessions.
Click "Start" to begin a 25-minute focus period. Concentrate fully on your task during this time.
When focus ends, an alarm sounds. Click "Next" to automatically start the 5-minute break. Relax, drink water, stretch.
After 4 complete pomodoros, the timer automatically suggests a long break of 15 to 30 minutes for full recovery.
Customize times in settings: change focus, short break, long break and number of pomodoros before the long break.
Online Alarm
The online alarm lets you set a specific time to receive a sound notification. It works as a digital alarm clock within the browser, useful for reminders, appointments and any situation that requires an alert at a precise time.
On the Alarm page, set the desired hour and minute, or use the quick shortcuts (in 15min, 30min, 1h or 2h). Click "Set Alarm".
The clock shows the configured time and countdown until the alarm. If the time has already passed today, the alarm is scheduled for the next day.
When the time arrives, the alarm sounds. Use "Dismiss" to stop or "Snooze" to reschedule in 5 minutes.
Preset Timers
For the most popular durations, we offer dedicated pages with pre-configured timers. Just access and click "Start" — no configuration needed. These pages are optimized for fast loading and immediate use.
